Healing from wounds

A broken heart is one of these things that you can not heal yourself. You can do something against a headache, a scratch or a broken bone. But only God can heal a broken heart and he does so by the power of prayer and through scripture.

In order to get over a heartbreak fast and encouraged, you need to immerse yourself in the word of God. The following Bible Verses for a broken heart will comfort, uplift and bring you peace every time you are hurting.

1 Peter 5:7

7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

For a heart that has been wounded at the hands of a person who claimed to love them, pain and fear can set in immediately. The way we view “love” and interpret affection may come under attack. But God does not love like humans love. His love is unconditional, and is not defined by anxiety or broken promises.

1 John 4:18

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. ”

Our pain is not hidden from God; rather, He offers us relief and healing, if we show Him our brokenness and invite Him into the pain.

God does not change His mind after making a promise or giving us a blessing. When He gives, He does it with no strings attached. Peace, even in the middle of a battle, is His gift to us when we lean into Him.

When God looks at us, even in our messiest, most broken state, He does not see us covered in shame. Instead, He is a loving God who asks to sit with and comfort us while we heal.

2 Corinthians 12:9

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. ’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest on me. ”

Our society does not value weakness, but God tells us that His love for us shines brightly in the darkness of our struggle. Our inability to deal with a situation gives Him a chance to step in and show us that His strength will lift the weight of disappointment, every single time.

Matthew 11:28-30

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. ”

Your burdens are not too heavy for God to bear. He created you to be dependent on Him, and He rejoices in lightening our load.

Prayer starter: Dear heavenly father, I cast all my fears on you. Heal me lord and give me peace from heaven. Thank you for your unconditional love and your constant protection. I love you. Amen.
